Mind Relief is dedicated to providing personalized mental health care, whenever and wherever you need it. Our dedicated team of therapists, led by one of the online psychotherapy pioneers in Canada, Dr. Nazanin Alavi, are here to help you along your journey to a more “relieved state of mind.”
The way we think and interpret life events affects how we behave and feel, which also affects how our body reacts. Unhelpful thoughts can make it difficult for us to function in various situations. CBT is about learning coping strategies that could help you deal with these challenges and reduce your stress. Online CBT can help those dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD and OCD. With Mind Relief, you are not alone on your journey. Our team is here to help you during difficult and challenging times. We have worked hard to make this process easier and more accessible than ever. Mind Relief brings you weekly CBT sessions wherever and whenever you want, giving you the ability to communicate with your therapist on a safe and secure online platform.
DBT helps you learn new skills to manage negativity and minimize conflicts in relationships that matter the most. Our method helps you accept your situation and be present in the current moment. Rather than trying to escape from your negative emotions, let Mindrelief teach you positive coping strategies for the intense emotions you face in your personal life and techniques that allow you to communicate with others in a more fruitful way. DBT was initially developed for the treatment of borderline personality disorder (BPD) with the principles of acceptance of reality. It has also been helpful in treating those coping with eating disorders, substance misuse and adapted to function in a variety of settings.
Supportive psychotherapy helps with relieving the presenting symptoms of distress and reducing the extent of behavioral disruptions caused by conflicts or disturbances. It targets self-esteem, ego functions, relationships and adaptive skills so that you can grow toward your goals. Supportive psychotherapy aims to treat those dealing with anxiety, depression and stress. This method helps you overcome the habits and emotions you have dealt with, while feeling secure along the way. Mind relief holds the key to unlocking your potential.
When dealing with health problems, the one thing you should not be worried about is affording the care you need. That is our mantra at Mind Relief.
Which is why our therapy is entirely covered by OHIP i.e. you don't have to worry about any costs!
