- Are there any costs associated with therapy?
MindRelief’s offers an entirely OHIP covered therapy plan i.e. you don’t have to worry about any costs!
- Do I need a doctor’s referral?
Mind Relief does not require a doctor’s referral. Self-referrals are always welcome!
- How long is the wait list?
After registering on our waitlist form, our current wait times range from 4-6 months. However, please feel free to contact us to get a better approximation for when we can book you in.
- When are appointments available?
Appointments are weekly scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays from morning to noon.
- How long is each weekly session?
Each weekly session consists of a 20 minute digital and video session.
- What should I expect at my first appointment?
The initial session is generally devoted to assessment and treatment planning. Our psychiatrists will have a discussion with you to better understand your needs. Based on that evaluation, they choose the right digital evidence-based (eCBT, eDBT, etc) plan for you.
- How does therapy work?
You will have weekly video therapy sessions with your psychiatrist and will also receive digital psychotherapy material with includes both cognitive and behavioural teachniques. Every week, your therapist will carefully review your homework and provides personalized feedback and guidance to assure that you are thriving and feeling better week by week.
